LDV T60 Pro Max: Australia’s New Cheapest Ute

17

The LDV T60 Pro Max has become Australia’s most affordable dual-cab ute, now priced at $36,990 drive-away for ABN holders until December 31, 2025. This marks the lowest price ever offered for the vehicle, significantly undercutting key competitors.

Price Comparison

At $36,990, the T60 Pro Max automatic – which includes a standard four-wheel drive – is cheaper than the GWM Cannon ($40,490 drive-away) and the KGM Musso ($42,500 drive-away). Even the Toyota HiLux and Ford Ranger are substantially more expensive, starting at $50,420 and $51,130 before on-road costs, respectively. This price point matches the previous run-out deal for the manual version, which was discontinued earlier this year.

Key Features of the 2025 Model

The offer applies to the latest 2025 model year (MY25) T60 Pro Max and represents a $2,000 reduction from the standard price. Premium paint is available for an additional $500. All MY25 T60 models are equipped with a 160kW/500Nm 2.0-liter bi-turbo four-cylinder diesel engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission, along with four-wheel disc brakes and standard four-wheel drive.

Recent Upgrades

The MY25 T60 Pro Max received several upgrades, including a revised braked towing capacity of 3,500kg (up from 3,000kg). It also features electric power steering, lane-keep assist, and a high-definition reversing camera. Inside, the vehicle includes digital radio, black roof rails, microfibre steering-wheel trim, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay.

Broader Range Discounts

LDV Australia is also offering $2,500 off the rest of the T60 lineup as part of the promotion. This brings the MY25 LDV T60 Max Plus to $42,990 drive-away and the long-wheelbase T60 Max Plus Mega Tub to $43,990 drive-away (both prices for ABN holders). The electric version, the eT60, remains unchanged at $92,990 before on-road costs.

Warranty and Sales Trends

The T60 is backed by a comprehensive seven-year, 200,000km warranty. While it remains LDV Australia’s best-selling model, sales have declined by approximately one-third in 2025. The larger LDV Terron 9 dual-cab ute was introduced earlier this year, positioned above the T60 lineup with a starting price of $49,990 drive-away.

The T60 Pro Max’s aggressive pricing strategy makes it a compelling option for budget-conscious buyers seeking a capable dual-cab ute. The combination of standard features, recent upgrades, and a long warranty enhances its value proposition in the competitive Australian market.
