Dacia Jogger Updated: New Hybrid Option for Just £25 More

Dacia has refreshed its seven-seat Jogger model, introducing a new hybrid powertrain and cosmetic upgrades with minimal price increase. The updated vehicle is now available for order, with prices starting at £18,995 – only £25 higher than the outgoing model.

Powertrain and Efficiency Gains

The most significant change is the introduction of the Hybrid 155 engine, previously found in the Sandero Stepway and Bigster models. This combines a 1.8-liter 108bhp petrol engine with a 49bhp electric motor, delivering a total output of 154bhp and 125lb ft of torque.

The hybrid system includes a 1.4kWh battery, enabling short periods of electric-only driving. Power is delivered through a clutchless automatic gearbox, exclusively to the front wheels. Dacia claims the Hybrid 155 improves fuel efficiency by 10%, achieving up to 61mpg and reducing CO2 emissions by the same margin.

Trim Levels and Pricing

The Hybrid 155 powertrain is available from the Expression trim level, priced at £23,330. The top-spec Extreme trim, featuring additional equipment, costs £24,630.

The Jogger range also continues to offer the TCe 110, a 108bhp turbocharged petrol engine paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.

Four Years After Launch

The facelift arrives four years after the Jogger’s initial release, making it one of the most affordable seven-seat options on the market. The slight price increase despite the powertrain upgrade demonstrates Dacia’s commitment to maintaining value for its customers.

The updated Dacia Jogger provides a compelling option for budget-conscious buyers seeking a spacious, fuel-efficient vehicle with the added benefit of hybrid technology. The minimal price adjustment ensures accessibility without compromising on improvements.
